If you have flaxen colored hair and are nervous about your eyebrow game, I have some great tips to help you. You may worry about going too light or too dark, but don’t be. These simple tips will step up your eyebrow game and I promise you won’t worry anymore!
As a blonde, your brow color may be a tough choice. Do you go light? Do you go dark? Which will look natural? Look to your hair root color to guide you. If you’re a platinum blonde or a former brunette, go for a light ashy taupe. If you’re a sunny or strawberry blonde, go for a shade with more caramel in it.
Now that color is decided, what about placement? A great way to make sure about the proper brow placement, is to use a three-pointmarking method. Hold a makeup brush or pencil parallel to the dimple on the side of your nose. Make a short mark there with a flesh tone liner or a concealer pencil. Mark a second line at the outside edge of your iris. For the last marking, hold the pencil diagonally beginning at the outer corner of your nose. This is where your brow should end.Using your eyebrow pencil and working in short strokes from the underside of your brow, start to build up towards the arch. You may want to make a straight line on the underside first.
Shade? Check. Placement? Check. What about highlight? To highlight and sharpen your brow shape, use a concealer pencil one shade lighter than your natural skin tone. Sketch with this concealer pencil above and below your eyebrow.Use a flat and synthetic brush to blend out your concealer. You can use the brush to sharpen the edges and fix any mistakes if needed.Set your brows with a clear brow gel to lock them in and you’re set to go! Now you and your brows look amazing!
