We’ve all been there. It’s time to paint our nails. One hand always ends up looking fabulous but then, when it comes time to paint the other hand, it’s a nightmare! How can you paint your non dominant hand and still get it looking as fabulous as the first? Fortunately, I have four easy tips to help you paint your nails on the other hand and have it looking great! Skip the salon. You can do this all by yourself at home.
- Before you start painting your nails, push your cuticles back with an orange wood stick. This gives you more nail space to work with.
- Choose your base coat and swirl the brush to make it skinny and round. Apply to the tips of your nails with the base coat to seal in those nail ends.
- Manipulate the brush into a flat shape and gently push the brush to the nail. Now comes the fun part! Keep your brush still and roll your hand to get the polish along the edges of the nail. Gently pull back to drag the brush down the nail. No more shaky hands for you!
- Repeat this process with your colored polish. Add two to three coats depending on the sheerness of the color you picked. Vary the angle of your hand to create clean brush strokes every time.
Isn’t that simple and easy? Now you’ll have perfectly painted nails on both hands all the time!
